Masik and Jurita, already enjoyed a very special relationship, but when Jurita was attacked by illness, Masik would prove to be more than a loving companion – he would also become Jurita’s protector.

The Masik was a dog to help bring artist out of her illness.
He really has changed artist’s life. They quickly got into a lovely habit of going out for walks.

Bad Boy Tyler (at home called as Masik) was just nine years old when his owner, artist Jurita was attacked by fibroma-cancer.

This clever little puppy had a big brave heart. Nobody did not know that the doctors found a tumor in dog brain, and in Jurita body this disease receded. The dog saved the mistress …

… the blood went into the body, the dog went blind, he was paralysed, epilepsy, he fell into a coma… I went in panic and I prepared gently carry him to the veterinary clinic late evening and night time. During several hours I tried find a night animals hospital in London Centre I carried him in my arms all night …

The dog died on the 3rd day in the “Blue Cross animal hospital, Victoria” in Jurita’s hands. Around the clock dropper did not save from hellish pain.

She was visit in hospital in this his last minutes, see him she could hear Bad Boy Tyler get die in her hands.” I could not save him … I tried …

The courage and determination he showed that time was incredible.

The illness left Jurita low and totally lacking in confidence but Bad Boy Tyler has helped her through.

Masik was considered a “medical dog” (pet therapy) – he e have provided great help and companionship, supported the people through difficult periods, raised the alarm in times of need, or simply made life better through his love and loyalty. In this capacity, the dog worked for 9 years.

Bad Boy Tyler has been a ray of light in Jurita’s life. “He is my everything and I am so proud of him.”-Jurita

How to relieve the pain of loss?
An emotional impulse to draw, hope, at least in the picture, to see your favorite look and feel the closeness and warmth of a sweet creature.

With sadness, Jurita took her brush and color and plunged her pain into the canvas, the life story of the faithful and beautiful dog Bad Boy Tyler and the artist. So the oil painting “My dog ​​Bad Boy Tyler” was born. This painting is washed by her tears in the process of its creation. Every month, Jurita visits the place of memory of this faithful dog on the seaside, in the south of England.

All the friends’ gazes at this painting seemed to be calling to make sure that everyone knew about this brave, kind and loyal dog, let Tyler continue to bring light and joy to people.

Jurita decided to exhibit this painting at the Art and Basketball exhibition in November 2019 in London together with Natasha Hart MBE and the athletes.

Now this painting keep to Queen Elizabeth II, knowing Her Majesty’s love for dogs. This is a good message of support “with good wishes to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and her family at this time” from artist Jurita.

Jurita, wanted people to never forget British “fidelity” to animals.

The portrait “My dog Bad Boy Tyler” we hope will become a symbol of British fidelity to animals and will attract even more fans.
